Ice Cream and Wiki

Cincinnati is famous for some of the "hometown" food that it offers. Skyline Chili, LaRosas Pizza, Montgomery Inn Ribs, and Graeter's Ice Cream, and Gliers Goetta. Growing up in the natti I have been exposed to everything listed above and enjoy partaking of the Cincinnati greatness.

One of my students told me about a seasonal Graeter's flavor called "Mint Cookies and Cream." She said that it is her favorite, even beating the Black Raspberry Chip and Mint Chocolate Chip. Molly loves the mint ice cream flavors so I stopped by and picked her up some and she agreed that it is the best flavor that Graters has to offer.

Recently we have talked with some friends of ours who have been to Italy and said that Italy has great ice cream called Gelato. They said it is their favorite and that they could eat it with every meal. Molly had the opportunity to try some while in Miami and told me that our friends tell the truth.

So I decided to Wiki Gelato to find out more. I Wiki everything just in case I need to share some random information. Anyway the Gelato Wiki led me to Wiki Ice Cream, which led to Graeter's Ice Cream.

While on the Graeters Wiki I read that it is some of the best ice cream because it is produced in small batches. Many say it is better than Ben & Jerry's and Hagen Das - I would agree as I do not like sweets, but I can easily consume a pint of the Graeters Chocolate Chip in one sitting.
