Sunday Drive

I have decided to give you a little taste of what goes on Sunday mornings before I go to work. I get up early (at least for a Sunday - 6:45-7:00am) because I have to and also because I enjoy rising early and after I am dressed and ready to leave I head downtown to Starbucks. I order a double tall latte and sometimes get a cinnamon swirl coffee cake (which is their best pastry) and just relax for a few minutes. If I am feeling very adventurous I will get 1, count it only 1, sugar in the raw in my latte - very bold of me. Sometimes I connect to the internet and view some blogs, read, or just watch the people watching me. It is exciting in the fall because you have many Bengals fans who enter the downtown store in the mornings to get their fix before they tailgate. If I am feeling a little more famished than normal I'll get a bagel from Brugers and then take it to Starbucks. After I finish my breakfast and drink some of my coffee I head to church and fall into line. This was a tradition for both Molly and I for a while, but usually Molly decides to sleep in and then meet me at church.

So here are some pictures of my weekly drive and a question for you... Do you have a weekly tradition? Or do you have a traditional time when you buy something from Starbucks and help my SBUX ascend? Or a token drink from Starbucks? For me: Fall, Winter, Spring = double tall latte or brewed coffee; Summer: Iced double tall latte.

P.S. Tim Greene is now a partner of Starbucks on the Skywalk - clearly the cleanest store downtown.

Chip has a Saturday tradition. Every Saturday he goes out to breakfast at about 7:30 am with his dad and sometimes his brothers go too. I like it because I get to sleep in every Saturday :)
