The Project

So this past weekend has been filled with a small remodel project of the kitchen. Our kitchen is great except for the fact that the color needed to be changed. I was fine with it, but Molly wanted to make it our own. So that means we changed the color by painting the kitchen. That is correct you heard it here first, we painted our kitchen!!! Well actually Molly painted until I could sense she was frustrated with me for not helping, then I junped in and helped - as any good husband would.

I am not one to get into a ton of work right away, that is jut not my bag. I believe that if it were up to me I would probably paint stuff, but just not so soon. I mean there are more constructive ways to spend my time. Ways such as reading, playing PS2, working wth youth, riding my bike. Stuff like that, then once old man winter hits I'd probably remodel some. Oh well, I'll enjoy the new look of the kitchen when it is finished.

I am excited though because we are going to rip up all of our carpets and expose the hardwood floors underneath! I cannot wait becuase it seems that we have some beautiful floors! Well that is basically all that is going on in my life right now. That and I realized that I need to be dedicated more to my work at BCC (www.my-church.com). Refuge (youth group) has begun and I have not really planned stuff out for each week, which is something that needs to happen. It will happen this week, you can bank on that!

The First in a Long While

well, well, well, so here is an update for those of you who never read this...

graduated college, bought a house, got married and got two new jobs. that is about it.
